Iran movie ‘Wishbone’ grabs two awards at US WIND Int’l Filmfest

Iranian movie ‘Wishbone’ has won two awards at WIND Int’l Film Festival in Hollywood.

Directed by Ali Atshani, the movie won the best feature film and best director of the year awards at the American event.

The gold trophy of the WIND festival was given to Atshani during the closing ceremony on Saturday.

The cinematic work compares and contrasts the ups and downs experienced by a fired coach who meets a girl whom he used to know several years before.

The cast includes famous Iranian actor, Hossein Yari, and actress, Mitra Hajjar.

WIND International Film Festival is an international film competition open to all creative filmmakers and talents from around the globe, the website of the event states.

The main mission of the festival is to create a bridge between the East and the West and bring more diversity to Hollywood.
